Mary H., Ph.D.
Mary H. has over 25 years of scientific research and writing experience in the fields of microbiology, infectious diseases, immunology, vaccine development, molecular biology, cancer biology, molecular imaging, wound healing, tissue regeneration, lymphangiogenesis, neurosurgery, molecular diagnostics, biosafety, and regulatory compliance. She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry with a focus in neuroendocrine immunology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and an M.B.A. from the University of Houston with a focus in administration and marketing. Her work has included basic, preclinical, and clinical outcomes research and writing while publishing in peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Infectious Diseases, Infection and Immunity, Journal of Nuclear Medicine, The Prostate, Tissue Engineering: Part A, Cell Research, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Wound Repair and Regeneration, Translational Oncology, Journal of Visualized Experiments, and Contrast Media and Molecular Imaging. In addition to manuscripts, she has experience writing and editing grant proposals, book chapters, business plans and proposals, consumer information brochures, training documents, standard operating procedures, safety and compliance protocols, and emergency response plans as well as serving as a manuscript reviewer for peer-reviewed journals. Mary also has several years of experience with molecular imaging acquisition and analyses for micro PET/CT and optical fluorescence imaging, including preparation of publication-ready images for journal submission. She is dedicated to high-quality writing and editing to help foster clear communication between researchers, clinicians, policy makers, and consumers regarding scientific research findings, clinical evidence-based findings, practice options, and policies and regulations.
