Tasha T., Ph.D.
Tasha received her Ph.D. in Molecular and Human Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During her graduate training, she used yeast as a model system to investigate telomeres, conducting research both at Baylor and the Salk Institute in La Jolla, CA. After obtaining her degree, Tasha was a postdoctoral fellow at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, where she used cell biology and biochemical approaches to study mechanisms of signal transduction. Tasha is currently a research associate studying lysine deacetylases. She has experience writing funding applications and scientific research articles. Her work has been published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry, PNAS, and Genetics.
